Voice and Water

Do you remember
the ancient connection
between your Voice and Water?

Water As A Portal To Your Voice
Over the years on my path of voice, I've come to know Water as a portal, a doorway, a gateway, to our voices and their power.

With weekly revelations about frequencies, vibrations, cymatics (the visualisation of sound), modern day science is catching up and revealing for our evidence-needing eyes what our ancient ancestors knew.
Following The Songlines
—Sirens, Mermaids & You—

The connection between water and our vocal vibrations is a timeless connection, stored away between the lines in early texts, in the imagery of mythical stories—that's how I saw and remembered it, through my vocal work with the mythical singers by the sea.

Following the ways of these water songstresses, I started sounding to the waters near me and quickly I felt the power. I saw my sounds reflected back to me. I felt how water was continuously, sensitively receiving my sounds, that water was listening.
Water, Eternal Witness & Mirror
I then saw this reflected in research in voice (on visualising sound), in music (on cymatic experiments with water), in water (on crystallography) — all showing how water is always listening and dynamically recording every single vibration.

Why does this matter?

Water shows us how we create.

Water reflects how sound becomes shape—
how different frequencies form different patterns,
different foundations of reality.

Within and without—
the inner and the outer reality.
The water I speak of lives not only in rivers and seas— it flows within you. Your body is a vessel of water. When you sing, your inner waters stir, weaving frequencies, awakening memory.
When we voice, we shape.
When we sing, we weave.

We are Vocal Sculpters.

Shaping the seen and unseen—
through the sacred act of sound.

Water makes this visible.
And this is just the beginning (keep reading below…)
When Song Touches Water
Recently, the Sirens and the Mermaids—the singers in the water—offered me images to create. Images that piece together what quietly and powerfully unfolds during the act of sustained sounding:

What Water Shows Us When We Sing
They offer glimpses into what is always occurring beneath the surface of sound...
Glimpses into interconnection, into the mysteries of creation, into vibrational beauty...
Where we remember the sacred power of our voices. Of our frequency.
And, it's not always about how we sound—
it’s about the courage to sound at all.
Have you noticed how many people today identify as "non-singers"?
How many people have stopped singing—or never felt safe to begin?

The Sirens and Mermaids are here to help us remember.
To guide us gently back into the magic of sounding.
Not to "perform", but to participate.
To sing—not to impress, but to express, to bless, to belong.
The journey of voice and vibration is one many are walking—and yet each carries a unique thread.
Many people have been, and are, on this path of unveiling our vibrational reality and creative power. And now we reach a moment in time, where we ask the following questions:
When we remember the relationship between our voice and water, what do we do with this remembrance?
How do we use it wisely?
How can we apply it today?
Enchanting The Waters—
Do You Remember?

This is a path practised by water priestesses, by sound healers, by water researchers.
I've presented and held space for different insights on this topic at the Water Priestess Confluence, an annual gathering since 2023 for those who serve the sacred waters.
I approach this topic from my main base of research: voice studies, and my main passion: activating the sonic currents that want to flow from deep within our hearts.

In my work, I help us remember the magic, beauty and power of our voices (especially during singing) and activate, with gentle ease, the songs our hearts yearn to express from deep within.

I explain why I believe singing is our Birthright and our Blueprint and why water has an important role in helping us—all of us—access our vocal flow.

I steer the conversation on the purpose of singing to stewardship and tending to bodies of Water:
Bodies of water around you
&
Your own body of water
(your body is almost 100% water on a molecular level)
